SIPTU engage with management on the implementation of job evaluation scheme

SIPTU Health representatives have today (Friday, 1st February) engaged with the Department of Health, the Health Service Executive (HSE) and the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform on the implementation of phase one and two of a job evaluation scheme for thousands of support grade workers in the health service.

Further talks are expected in the near future to progress and clarify, issues of interest to SIPTU members, including the key issue of upgrading.

The engagement is part of the terms of the Public Service Stability Agreement. An agreement endorsed by a large majority of SIPTU members in August 2017.
