Industrial Organisers and Assistant Industrial Organisers are assigned to Divisions, Sectors and individual employments. These officials are responsible for collective bargaining negotiations on pay and conditions of employment of members and for building union density and union strength. In addition, the administrative needs of Divisions are supported by Administrative Assistants.
Sector Organisers report directly to the Divisional Organiser and are responsible for union organisation, the co-ordination and implementation of industrial activities and communications within the Sector.
Industrial Organisers are assigned responsibility for individual employments in a Sector. They report to the Sector Organiser/Divisional Organiser and are responsible for the Industry Committees, Vocational Committees, District Committees and other units of organisation established within a Sector.
Assistant Industrial Organisers are assigned responsibility for individual employments in a Sector and report to their assigned Divisional Organiser/Sector Organiser/Industrial Organiser.
Administrative Assistants for the Division report to the Divisional Organiser. They have responsibility for providing administrative support to the official in their Division and a range of administrative duties will be assigned to them.
