SIPTU members invited to participate in independent recruitment and retention study
SIPTU members working in nursing and midwifery have been invited by the Public Service Pay Commission to participate in a study relating to the recruitment and retention of nurses and midwives within the health sector.
This study, titled “Engage to Change”, has been commissioned by an independent research company that will include both online surveys and face-to-face interviews. The report of the findings will help guide the Public Service Pay Commission in its deliberations on recruitment and retention in the health sector. Additional information about the study can be accessed here.
SIPTU Nursing representatives also made a comprehensive submission to the Public Service Pay Commission. Other grades in SIPTU Health Division also made submissions including the radiographers, radiation therapists and ambulance professionals.
They will also be afforded the same opportunity to participate throughout the period of the process
