SIPTU balloting continues on car park fee proposal in St James’s Hospital
SIPTU members in St James’s Hospital are continuing to ballot for strike action over management’s unilateral decision to impose a €500 car parking charge on workers.
SIPTU Organiser David Field said: “Our members voted steadily over the last week and we will continue the ballot on Tuesday 26th, January. Over a thousand workers have signed a workplace petition in opposition to this charge. We are encouraging all of our members to have their say, to organise and win respect and resist the charge.”
