NMBI Retention Fee Almost Due
SIPTU representatives have urged all nursing and midwifery members to pay their Annual Retention Fee (ARF) to the Nurses and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) by 21st March 2017.
SIPTU Nursing and Midwifery Sector Organiser, Kevin Figgis, said: “We would like to make members aware that the NMBI have issued a third reminder to nurses and midwives informing them that the Board may consider removing them from the Register if they do not pay their ARF by 21st March 2017.
We would encourage all nursing and midwifery members that have not paid the €100 fee in advance of 21st March 2017 to avoid their possible removal from the register, which will not only have a negative impact on them personally, in terms of having to pay additional restoration fees to the NMBI, but will also have a detrimental effect on the health care system.
